Louise has been a Joomla volunteer since February 2022, when she joined the Marketing Team to assist with graphic design. She later became Marketing Lead and was elected Outreach Department Coordinator in September 2023.

Through her business, Oyster SEO - based in the coastal town of Whitstable, Kent, she offers SEO services, new website builds using Joomla, and digital strategy support tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises. With over 20 years of marketing experience, Louise understands the real-world challenges SMEs face and focuses on cutting through digital jargon to deliver measurable results.

Her services also include Google Business Profile optimisation, GEO (generative search optimisation), content creation, social media management, and guidance on leveraging AI tools effectively.
