SPAM! This is one problem that any webmaster today has to contend with in his daily tasks. If not dealt with on a fundamental level, it can really become a pain in the neck and also end up in consuming time. Not removing Spam comments/registrations/forums posts on websites can really be harmful for its reputation and credibility.

2010 has been a great year for Joomla!. As our project celebrated its fifth birthday, we also surpassed 22 million Joomla! downloads worldwide and 138 million extension downloads from the Joomla! During Joomla! Day West 2010 and the Community Leadership Team and Production Leadership Team Summit, Kyle Ledbetter and Jeremy Wilken were asked to produce a series of video interviews with Joomla! Leadership that was in attendance. Additionally, some interviews were done with other members of the community that were there. In the first two of these released, Peter Martin, Wendy Robinson, Chris Davenport and Mark Dexter share their thoughts on the project, community and why they love Joomla!

The very definition of Joomla! invokes a sense of community; and what a diverse and talented community we are! We span the globe, our skill sets range from development to design, from coding to communication. We are multilingual, multinational and multicultural. And, we are volunteers.
