There was a time when, as a web designer, you had to choose between a Content Management System (CMS) that would provide an up-to-date design or the right functionality for your website. Certain systems where known to be better at providing shopping cart solutions, other provided attractive and responsive blogging options, and then there was Joomla!, which gave developers room to continuously add functionality through its extensive extension directory.

Walking the thin line between speed and accuracy... The developer life is not an easy one. Most would think the life of a developer is relatively safe and holds very little in the way of danger. I submit this is simply not the case. The daily routine of a developer involves a complex and oftentimes difficult routine which most will never see or understand. Quite similar to a tightrope walk. 

When I landed at Frankfurt airport, I was not sure what to expect. That was a first time in many levels for me: my first time in Europe, my first time in Germany (which I longed to visit for decades) and my first time at a J and Beyond.

Some recent articles in the Community Magazine already explained the technical backgrounds of the implementation and the workflow for developers. However, many still struggle to understand where they can see this and how they can benefit from the SEO advantages that microdata give on a practical level.
