Our April issue has something in store for every Joomla user, from content manager to code poet and from beginner to developer. Like every month, our awesome volunteer authors happily share their knowledge with you, our readers. As you may know,...
Why should you join the Joomla World Conference? How did Angie Radtke experience her short term on the Board as the Secretary of Open Source Matters? What opportunities does Joomla offer for young developers looking to contribute to Open Source and...
Like every month, the lovely Joomla Community Magazine team has managed to write magnificent and beautiful articles on a variety of topics. To name a few: new features, how-to's, tutorials, community interviews, recap of Joomla's participation at FOSDEM and the opportunity...

You are viewing the December issue of Joomla Community Magazine, our very last one this year. Like every month, we treat you to an exciting mix of articles, tutorials and community news.
Say hi to your monthly dose of exciting Joomla news! The November issue of the Joomla Community Magazine is packed with good stuff. We have recaps from JoomlaDays, tutorials and lots of news from our wonderful community (did somebody say "elections"?).
When this issue of the JCM comes out, Joomla 6 has just been launched. A new major version of your favorite CMS has seen the light of day 🎉. And if you know our awesome, well-structured roadmap, you're probably not even a bit surprised by that, because it was announced ages ago: major new versions every two years. Which is, you guessed it, now, for Joomla 6.
As you probably know, Joomla is powered by people only. That means no large company setting direction or course, no investors having a say in what we're doing: it's just us, together, working voluntarily to improve Joomla so it remains the best CMS in the world.
In an interview in this issue, OSM's new secretary, Philip Walton, says: "We are a massive success story, and it's so easy to forget that. An anarchic incoherent group of individuals who gravitated around an open source fork and made it work, and not just work but work for 20 years, that's a huge achievement and one that's easy to overlook."
That is exactly how I feel about the Joomla Community Magazine. Each and every month, people come up with ideas and articles. It's a never ending flow of quality content, created by you: the wonderful Joomla community. The May issue is no different: another interesting mix of tutorials and how-to's, community interviews, leadership interviews (read those! These people hold Joomla's future) and more. Have fun reading, and if you think: hey, this is a community I'd like to join, please reach out to us so we can find you something nice to do!
And there it is: the April Issue of the Joomla Community Magazine. As you may expect from us, we have an interesting mix of articles for you: our new President shares her ideas for Joomla with us, we've interviewed the Release Managers of both Joomla 5.4 and Joomla 6 and much, much more. Enjoy, and if you like an article, don't forget to share it on your socials!
