Joomla Community: This is YOUR Magazine!

Their presentation was named "Everything You Wanted To Know About the JCM". Dianne Henning and Alice Grevet gave us a great lesson on what being a volunteer in an Open Source project like Joomla and the Community Magazine can be. By the time they finished I was absolutely inspired! I walked towards them and offered to create illustrations for the magazine, or even write articles, something I love to do. At that moment, my life changed forever. And I hardly knew what lay ahead of me...

Joomla in Transition

Joomla in Transition

A fitting milestone for the Joomla project as it turns 10 is the process of implementing its new structure for governance. All of the effort that has gone into proposing and defining that process aims to take Joomla into the next decade and beyond by enabling great coding to continue, teams to be run more efficiently and have more impact, and the fundamental project value of community volunteerism to be upheld.

A Decade of Joomla!

A Decade of Joomla!

The Joomla project is turning 10 in the coming days and weeks. It is the conviction, hard work, love and passion of the Joomla Community that has brought us this far. More Bang for Your JCM!

More Bang for Your JCM!

The Joomla Community Magazine exists for the community, and by the community. It’s not called the “Joomla Magazine” for a reason. The JCM was created primarily as a platform for community members to share their stories, tips and knowledge about Joomla. As long as a steady flow of articles comes from the community, the magazine will continue to exist. This has been the case for nearly five years, but lately, submissions have been down. It’s time for the community to rally around the magazine!
