Let’s unite and celebrate Joomla's legacy and bright future - together! This August Joomla is turning 20, and it’s time to celebrate this incredible journey with the global Joomla community! Since its inception in 2005, Joomla has grown into a powerful, open-source CMS trusted by millions worldwide. It has become a leading CMS in the whole world.
Now, in 2025, we’re preparing a grand birthday bash to honor the community, contributors, developers, designers, sponsors and users who’ve made Joomla what it is today.
20 Years Joomla Live Online Celebration Party
Mark your calendars! On the 17th of August we're organizing a Joomla 20-Year Live Online Celebration Party. Expect a full day virtual event with keynotes, showcases, games, and more.. Everyone from seasoned contributors to new users is invited. Let’s reunite and celebrate!

We are renewing our Joomla Shop in order to provide you with the latest design swag. The new designs will be out by the end of June. We will post details in all social media channels. You can find the shop here: https://community.joomla.org/the-joomla-shop.html#!/
For those unable to order from the shop, we will make all logos and design elements available for download, so that you can order yours from your nearest provider.

Using Joomla for myself and my clients since the beginning. Pitty to see almost most of the sites worldwide don't use the power off Joomla. It's much more powerfull and versatile than most people realize. Only the many upgrades are a pain in the butt.
Using Joomla for myself and my clients since the beginning. It would be great if more sites would use the immense power of Joomla. It's so powerful and versatile! And it's stable, safe and secure because it's so well-maintained, with regular updates that follow a scheduled release cycle.
