Cape Town, Chicago and Lomé are the cities where you will find locally organized JoomlaDay events in August.

JoomlaDay Chicago

JoomlaDay Chicago, to be held on August 10th and 11th, 2012, will have 32 speakers in 30 sessions over a 2-day period that includes case studies and multiple sessions on responsive design.

Event coordinator, Mike Carson, also announced that JoomlaDay Chicago will headline a popular Blues Brothers act for the Friday Night Social Banquet sponsored by Microsoft.

JoomlaDay Chicago 2012 is a not your average Joomla Day event. This year the Chicago based event is classified as a Business Expo and Learning Conference for all web design and marketing agencies that are considering  to use Joomla as their application or web development platform of choice. .

JoomlaDay Chicago has come to be the largest JoomlaDay event in North America.

This month there’s also two JoomlaDays on the continent of Africa:

JoomlaDay Lomé, TOGO

After the first JoomlaDay organized in sub-Saharan Africa in Libreville, Gabon, they are organized another Joomla! Day in Africa, JoomlaDay Lomé (TOGO), from the 15th of August 2012.

Those two days allow users of Joomla! Togo to meet, to discuss the contribution of Joomla! web development sectors in Togo and in the subregion.

It is planned workshops on Joomla! 2.5.6, with the presentation of a dozen modules useful for the African sites.

JoomlaDay Cape Town, South Africa

Beautiful Cape Town will once again play host to JoomlaDay South Africa - Cape Town, at The Pavilion Conference Centre in the V&A Waterfront. The event will be on the 17th and 18th of August 2012.

Over the two days there will two tracks of talks taking place, which will engage an audience from developers to businesses owners and corporates.
