Joomla is a very unique Open Source project. Joomla never had a benevolent dictator or a corporate backer. There is no office building and Joomla has no paid staff. Still, Joomla has grown to be one of the most popular CMSs in the world, thanks to volunteers!

Short, TED-style presentations and lots of content: this was the format chosen by JUG Joomla Calango for Joomla Day Brasília 2014, which happened on November 21th. It was the 5th Joomla Day organized by the community, in Brasilia and the first one to use this dynamic format.

Ah, la migration... Beaucoup la voit comme une corvée et peut-être que cela en est une effectivement. Mais une migration est également une réelle opportunité. Une occasion de réévaluer les objectifs, réparer les dégâts, accroître la fonctionnalité, la sécurité et l'efficacité d'un site. Mais beaucoup ont lutté. Le groupe de travail pour les mises à jour (Update Working Group) a été mis en place afin de rendre le processus de migration plus clair et plus facile à trouver. Le groupe souhaite ainsi répondre à ceux qui n'ont pas encore migré, mais ont besoin de le faire.

Ces quatre dernières années, la sphère Joomla! a fait l’objet d’une effervescence certaine, la communauté poursuivant son expansion et le logiciel se dotant d'idées innovantes. Le marché du logiciel évolue rapidement, les plateformes vont et viennent et il en a été de même pour Joomla! 2.5. Aujourd'hui, penchons-nous sur ses presque quatre années de vie et sur le framework qui permet à Joomla! de toujours grandir.

Tout a commencé par cet e-mail : Félicitations! nous sommes heureux de vous informer que vous avez été sélectionné pour participer au programme Joomla Event Travel (JET) et assister à la Joomla World Conference (JWC14) à Cancun du 7 au 9 novembre 2014 ! Inutile de dire que ma joie était immense car j’allais retrouver des personnes avec qui j'ai sympathisé et échangé sur les forums, chats, hangouts etc... Il y avait aussi des personnes rencontrés à la dernière conférence à Boston Massachussets JWC 2013 que je souhaitais revoir. Bref, je ne cache pas ma joie d'avoir été sélectionné pour partir au Mexique pour rencontrer des gens toujours aussi passionnés par Joomla.

Она является возможностью пересмотреть цели, подчистить беспорядок [тут и там], нарастить функционал, [увеличить] безопасность и производительность [Вашего веб-сайта]. He was an active member of the Production Leadership Team recently, and now works on CMS Joomla code as a volunteer.
