The second annual Joomla! Day Chicago 2012 Business Expo and Learning Conference event is a highly Joomla focused 2 day event that will have two levels of focus this year. The venue is at the luxurious Chicago Marriott Midway Hotel only 5 minutes from the Chicago Midway Airport. This venue offers us the opportunity to host a very professional event at a convenient and cost effective location for travelers and attendees.
What is the format of Joomla Day Chicago 2012?
On the first day (The Business Day) we will be showcasing how Joomla is a solution for big business. We will be focusing on large corporate enterprise, government, and education solutions that are using Joomla within their businesses. This first day will have a very professional “white glove” type of atmosphere focusing on the professional community. Come see what Joomla is doing for big companies.
The second day of the event will be a more generally relaxed and really fun community day. This day will be more focused on the users and site implementers and casual attire. This will be more like a typical unconference style day that most other Joomla Day events are like. This day will be focussed on learning about various extension comparisons and how to types of sessions.
Throughout both days there will be multiple keynote speakers discussing whe latest and greatest of how Joomla is being used and presented around the world. many case study sessions are also on the schedule.
