You’ve probably  heard about the Joomla 8 sprint in the June edition of the magazine. With only 2 weeks left - the sprint will take place from September 4th to September 7th - we would like to update you about the plans.

First of all, we (the Production Department) would like to hear your ideas: what features will bring Joomla to the next level within the next 4 years?

But one moment, before you start sending us your ideas, we have one small request: we’re looking for commitment as well, so when you have an idea, we expect you to take a role in the developing process. Either by contributing project management, development, testing time or donating money to get the feature done.

So you can't just stand on the side and tell us what you think Joomla should do; we expect you to be involved.

The sprint

During the sprint we would like to have two online calls, one on Friday and one on Saturday to update the community about the things that are discussed at the Sprint. Also we would like to gather feedback from the community itself. The calls will be around 15:00 - 17:00 UTC. We’ll share the final times in our Joomla 8 Sprint Mattermost channel.
