Louise has been a Joomla volunteer since February 2022, when she joined the Marketing Team to assist with graphic design. She later became Marketing Lead and was elected Outreach Department Coordinator in September 2023.
With more than 20 years of marketing experience, Louise helps small businesses navigate the increasingly complex world of search, websites, content and AI. Through Oyster SEO, she combines SEO and digital strategy with practical implementation, helping SMEs get found, understood and trusted online.
Her work now focuses particularly on how search is changing in the AI era, including knowledge and content strategy, AI visibility, AI-ready websites, analytics and reporting, alongside building websites with Joomla.
Louise believes good digital marketing should make complex technology useful rather than simply adding more jargon. Her approach is practical, collaborative and grounded in the real-world challenges small businesses face.
