With opportunities in marketing, finance, legal, compliance, and testing, there’s a place for YOU. Each month we will highlight a few of the areas that could use a helping hand. If you don’t see anything below that works for you, check out the Help Wanted page or contact the Volunteer Engagement Team for assistance in getting matched with the right opportunity.

PHP/Extension Developers

Joomla has some of the best extensions and the Joomla Extension Directory (JED) is the place to find them. The JED Team is looking for PHP/Extensions developers to create the next iteration of the directory of the extensions. JED is organized according to the following positions:

  • Assistant Team Manager
  • Listing Specialist
  • VEL (vulnerable extension listing) Specialist
  • Review Manager
  • Support Specialist

All of these roles will be re-organized on the new JED4 and the planned JED Extension Checker Service. Here’s where YOU come in, we are looking for PHP/Extensions developers to help in the planning, development, and testing of both systems.
