Leadership Highlights October 2013

Written by | 01 October 2013 | Published in 2013 October
With Joomla’s 8th anniversary there was lots to celebrate. Quite some milestones have been achieved. But instead of taking the time to celebrate there is lots of work yet to be done in order to achieve our next milestones!

An alpha version of our next Joomla version 3.2 got released and there are some exciting new features to test. This is surely a huge milestone to get listed on our next anniversary.

Another milestone is the scholarship programme to enable individuals to attend the Joomla World Conference in November. Soon the list of the lucky recipients will be published.

At the same time, the leadership is processing two important RFP’s. The RFP for the Joomla Extension Directory is still open for submissions until October 14th. OSM is processing the RFP for the Joomla Demo. Some very good submissions were received and hopefully there is going to be some exciting news in the next month to share.

On the road…

If you think September was a busy month for JoomlaDays, think again! We even have to consider more flags to travel with our leadership team members to get signed at the events since some events are happening on the same day(s).

On October 5th and 6th you can choose to meet Joomla users and leaders in Poland and UK.

If you’re in Israel be sure to meet up on October 10th.

On October 12th there are three countries where you can join in: Bulgaria, Italy and Hungary.

On October 18th you’re welcome in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a day later on October 19th Houston and Sydney are the places to be.

And we’re not done yet! You can attend JoomlaDay Denmark from October 25th to 27th.

Book it now!

This is the last week to save $100 on your entrance! If you haven't gotten your ticket for the upcoming Joomla! World Conference, do it now! http://conference.joomla.org/
