Since its inception in 2005, Joomla has grown into a powerful, open-source CMS trusted by millions worldwide. It has become a leading CMS in the whole world.
Now, in 2025, we’re preparing a grand birthday bash to honor the community, contributors, developers, designers, sponsors and users who’ve made Joomla what it is today.

Mark your calendars! On the 17th of August we're organizing a Joomla 20-Year Live Online Celebration Party. Expect a full day virtual event with keynotes, showcases, games, and more.. Everyone from seasoned contributors to new users is invited. Let’s reunite and celebrate!
