Sander Potjer is Joomla developer and specialist at the Dutch company Perfect Web Team. His passion for Joomla started back in 2005 when he build a Joomla website for his rowing team. Sander is actively involved with the community around Joomla.
While building his first Joomla website Sander was directly impressed by Joomla and the helpful and enthusiastic community. It did not take long before he became involved with the local Dutch community. In 2008 he co-founded www.joomlacommunity.eu. Via this community he supported the start of Dutch Joomla User Groups, of which there are now 14.
Meanwhile out of this community Stichting Sympathy emerged, a foundation to promote and support Joomla in The Netherlands that also organizes the yearly Dutch Joomla!Days. Sander is chairman of this foundation.
Internationally Sander is also active for the Joomla project. He is a member of the Joomla Community Leadership Team (CLT) and responsibilities include the Joomla Extensions Directory.
Sander is also the creator and developer of ACL Manager, a popular Joomla extension that makes managing the Joomla ACL settings very easy.

Sandra Ordonez is a web astronaut specializing in digital strategy and website design. She also serves as External Communications Lead for Joomla. She is the founder of Bicultural and Multicultural People Rule and Virgins of NY. Her webiste, Collaborative Nation, focuses on web culture, community management, and collaboration. Previously, she was the Communications Manager for Wikipedia. She graduated from American University with a double degree in International Relations and Public Relations.
Of course, I am passionate about the web, and even more about Joomla! and especially its fabulous Community of people with whom it is so easy to share.
