Peter Martin has been active in the Joomla community since 2005. He is one of the Global Forum Moderators, and has been active in Community Leadership Team, Operations Department Coordinator, Board of Directors, Mentor for Google Summer of Code (GSoC).

With his company db8.nl (founded in 2005) Peter supports companies and organisations with Joomla support and custom Joomla extension development. Peter is co-founder of data2.eu - an online tool to create a Processing Index needed for GDPR compliance and co-developer of "d2 Content" - a component to help you manage and edit articles more easily.

In his hometown Nijmegen (Netherlands) Peter (co-)organizes: Joomla User Group Arnhem/Nijmegen, Linux Usergroup Nijmegen and Open Coffee Nijmegen (a monthly networking event for small businesses).
