JoomlaDay Brazil Edition Ribeirão Preto will be held on the 11th and 12th of May 2012 at the University of Ribeirão Preto - UNAERP.

The event promises to have topics that cover everything from security, site optimization, templates and development, and much more.

J and Beyond 2012

Later in May, we are again invited to J and Beyond, an International Joomla! conference, in Bad Nauheim, near Frankfurt, Germany. This 3-day conference will be held from the 18th to the 20th of May 2012.

The co-organizer for this event, Robert Deutz, had the following to say when I asked him what makes J and Beyond special:

"We have arrived at the place J and Beyond was always meant to be. We have a good mix of developers, site builders and users, we have attendees from more than 35 countries, we have a great program "from attendees for attendees" and we have a strong leadership participation. It is truly an international Joomla! conference, some people say it is THE international Joomla! conference. I am more a friend of understatement so I stick to the first"

The Joomla! Production Leadership Team (PLT) will also be holding the second Joomla Roadmap meeting during J and Beyond 2012, and many of the Community Leadership Team (CLT) and the Open Source Matters (OSM) board will also be attending.
