The Joomla Shop - Just in Time for the Holidays!

It's finally here - the Joomla Shop for him! for her! for them! even for Bowser (check out the doggie gear). No one will look cooler than you with a Joomla Tshirt, backpack, laptop cover or Santa's hat. Let your fingers do the walking and make some people very happy this holiday season! Bow-WOW!

Joomla Platform 11.3

November saw the release of a new Platform version: 11.3. Better than the old version, it not only fixes bugs it introduces new features such as image manipulation, generation of HTML tables, and the github API. Git hoppin' over to the Dev Network to read more about it!

Joomla 2.5 Beta

The PLT is working hard on new features for 2.5, due in time for the holidays. Targeted features include support for other databases and the latest platform version. Read how even the non-geeky can help in Last Steps to Joomla 2.5.

Parlez-vous Multilanguage?

The folks who work diligently to keep Joomla accessible to our global community by providing translations and multi-language options deserve a big hand for their ongoing effort. Read about the latest multilanguage improvements in 1.7.3.  Thank you Translation Team!

Better Template Than Never

A facelift may not be in the cards for all of us, but Joomla.org got one last month, and she's looking amazing! Cleaner and easier to navigate, the new design takes Joomla.org to the next level in usability and presentation. Thanks CLT for the awesome nip and tuck!

One Pepperoni Pizza, Hold the Cockroaches

Pizza Bugs and Fun 2011 is the PLT's initiative for Joomla community bug squashers to code and test issues in the CMS Tracker and the new release. Date: December 10. Read more about it and find out how to get involved. Pass the bugs, I mean the pizza!

Happy Trails

Two OSM board members had to leave in November for personal and professional reasons. Philip Locke, and Krit Tamrareang, thank you for being part of the adventure. We'll miss you!
