Hi, my name is Javier Gómez and I've been elected to participate in the Google Summer of Code 2012 program.

The Google Summer of Code (GSoC) helps support students who get the opportunity to work with mentors on a variety of coding projects that will all be contributed back to the student's mentoring organization, in my case the Joomla! Project.

This year's Joomla! GSoC application was led by Chad Windnagle (Primary Administrator), Andrea Tarr (Secondary Administrator), and Elin Waring. Key supporters and contributors to the application process include Michael Babker, Robert Deutz, Andrew Eddie, Louis Landry, Jacques Rentzke, and Matt Thomas.

This summer I will be creating a Language Installer Tool for Joomla! CMS. The mentors of the project are Jeremy Wilken, Jean-Marie Simonet, Marijke Stuivenberg. And the documentation for all the project is avaliable at http://languageinstaller.blogspot.com.es/
