A few days ago, with the Association Joomla! Lombardy and the Web Advisor Team, I had the great opportunity to live a work day with Xaverian Missionaries; I don’t want to hide the strong emotion I felt in bringing our beloved CMS in a so prestigious area, with the presence of official Vatican State delegates and missionaries coming from all over the world.
February 9th was Safer Internet Day. Google offered Gmail users an extra 2 GB of space to perform a quick security audit on their account. The tasks were easy: a quick review of the account recovery information and the connected applications. Standing in front of an audience of 167 (including an 11 day old baby) and not seeing a single empty seat when the event began was an awesome feeling. It was only then that I knew we had succeeded in rebooting JoomlaDay UK and proving that we have a large community.

Joomla! viene con un componente para manejar contactos. Una limitación que algunas veces me ha llevado a buscar otra extensión para mostrar los contactos en una página, es que la vista de todos los contactos en una categoría no permite mostrar las fotos o avatares de las personas. En este artículo te voy a mostrar cómo hacer un override que agrega las imágenes en la lista de contactos.
