A cautionary tale of how the past caught up to Martin Raja and myself, and how we beat it senseless when it did.

Im Juni werde ich (Helvecio da Silva) eine Präsentation machen, und zwar in der grössten Stadt von Brasilien: São Paulo. Ich möchte damit den Leuten Joomla! näher bringen, will ihnen sagen, um was es genau geht - und vor Allem möchte ich, dass sie die Erfahrung machen "Joomla sind Leute!". Und dafür richte ich diesen Appell für Mithilfe an die Gemeinschaft.

Unter den vielen Neuheiten in Joomla! 3 befindet sich auch die Implementierung von LESS. Mancher mag schon von LESS gehört haben oder kennt dieses Ding sogar schon, weiss damit umzugehen, wendet es an. Für alle, die über LESS im Allgemeinen etwas lernen möchten (oder auch nur ihr Wissen auffrischen wollen) bietet dieser Artikel eine Übersicht und zeigt auf, wie LESS in Joomla! implementiert wird.

Im Sinn eines Follow-up zu David Hurley’s Übersicht zu LESS bzw. weniger Arbeit dank LESS, folgt hier eine Zusammenstellung von Programmen und Werkzeugen, die das Arbeiten und Coden der Webseiten mit LESS weiter vereinfachen sollen. Speziell für all diejenigen, die aus der CSS Welt kommen, und sich nun mit LESS auseinandersetzen müssen. Dieser Beitrag stellt einige Tools vor, denen unsere Praktikanten in unserer Firma (PB Web Development) bei ihrer Arbeit und beim Lernen von LESS und Joomla! begegnet sind.  

Ein abschreckendes Beispiel wie die verlinkte Vergangenheit Martin Raja und Arlen Walker eingeholt hat, und wie sie (die Links) in der Folge besinnunglos geschlagen wurden.

Der Beitragstitel (Der im Original Dead Link Walking heisst) ist übrigens eine Anspielung auf den Film "Dead Men Walking" - welcher auf Deutsch etwas unglücklich "Sein letzter Gang" heisst. Naja, ich habs versucht zu übersetzen, aber der Gag passt halt nicht unbedingt. Sorry about that.

As a follow up post to David Hurley’s round up of working less, I mean, Work LESS in Joomla, I’ve put together a list of tools and programs that you can use to make working and coding your websites up with LESS far easier, especially if you come from a traditional world of basic CSS and now trying to get your head around how LESS works.

This article goes through a bunch of useless, I mean useful, LESS tools that our interns here at PB Web Development have found in their time working and learning LESS and Joomla. 

Dans les articles précédents, nous avons "préparé le terrain" et commencé la mise en place de la structure du composant. Dans ce tutoriel, nous allons nous concentrer sur certains détails comme l’écriture des fonctions et des fichiers constituant le noyau de cette extension. Nous allons ainsi commencer à la faire "fonctionner". Nous tenterons également d'unifier l'ensemble du composant avec le secret espoir d'avancer dans la réalisation de notre objectif final.

A partir del dia 1 d'abril de 2013, el Directori d'Extensions Joomla eliminarà el requisit dels arxius index.html a totes les carpetes.

La versió de Joomla 3.1.0 sortirà el 15 d'abril. Això ens donarà una mica més de temps per provar i ajustar la interessant i nova funció d'etiquetatge, també per arreglar alguns problemes sense importància.

El viernes 22 de Marzo se desarrolló el Joomla! Pizza Valparaíso 2013. Había expectación respecto a la concurrencia, pues era primera vez que Joomla! aterrizaría en Valparaíso, al nuevo JUG Región Metropolitana, cuyos miembros estaban ahí presentes.

Este mes se desarrollará el Joomla! Day Guatemala 2013 en la ciudad de Guatemala. Al igual que el año pasado, habrá invitados que darán conferencias, pero además habrá un debate en vivo con el presidente de la OSM, Paul Orwig.

Un CCK, Content Construction Kit (paquete de construcción de contenidos) en inglés, es un componente que te permite mejorar la forma en que publicamos los contenidos y como estos son visualizados en Joomla.

A partir del 1 de abril de 2013, el Directorio de Extensiones Joomla eliminará el requisito de los archivos index.html en todas las carpetas.

Cuando desarrollamos un portal con perfiles público y registrado o sea, con contenidos
restringidos solo para usuarios registrados, por lo general, el usuario no registrado al acceder a estos contenidos se encuentra con el mensaje “no tiene autorización para ver este recurso” como se puede ver a continuación...
