Luca volunteers for Joomla since 2007. He started in the Italian Community and moved to the global one in 2015. He served in several roles and teams: from JED to Certification Program, from Trademark to Compliance. He is Secretary of Open Source Matters, Inc. since 2017.

Luca serves as Lead Editor for the Joomla Community Magazine since March 2020.

After Justine Ayebale Abunyanga got her Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, she started working as a web designer. First, she made hardcoded HTML websites, but when she discovered Joomla, her life suddenly became a whole lot easier. Today, she co-directs the Ugandese IT-company Webstar Uganda. Justine had been an active member of the local community for a while when she decided to run for VP, a role she considers as a broad one: “This role requires that you represent everyone.”

The July Issue

July

July is the month of the Semi-Annual Members Meeting of Open Source Matters and the restart of the election cycle with the Call for Manifestos for half of the Board roles.

But, besides the "politics" of the Project, a lot more is happening: Joomla 4 Beta 2 has been released and the Community is being busy with continuing the successful "Bugs & Fun @Home" initiative, that is the right opportunity for the contributors to spend time together, virtually, working to improve the best Joomla version ever.
