In America, April is National Volunteer Month where we recognize and celebrate those who give of their time and talent to help others. As a volunteer-driven organization Joomla! would not exist without them/us/we, the volunteers that work hard to manage, build, create, enhance, document, translate, market, and so on.
There are two circles. One represents all the things that I care about. The other represents all the things over which I have control. The circle of things that I care about tends to be quite a bit larger than the one that I have control over. This is true of almost everyone.
Psst! Have you heard? Joomla! 4 is coming. Yeah, I know that you’ve heard that before, but it’s TRUE! Earlier this month Joomla 4 Beta 7 was released and you know what that means?! It means that a Joomla 4 Release Candidate is dropping soon, and where there’s a release candidate, a new Joomla release is soon to follow. To get over the finish line, we need a hand, make that several hands to get things done. There’s a saying, something about many hands, making light work, or something like that. We could use MANY hands to write, test, bugfix, market, document, translate and more.
What would 2020 be without another event that’s run differently? We couldn’t supply pizza to JUGs this year, so participants around the world made their own for PBF20!
