I've participated in Pizza Bugs and Fun (PBF) several times, and it's always a fantastic event. It's an opportunity to test, document, and improve Joomla alongside fellow Joomlers, both in person and virtually. The most recent PBF on August 24th saw participation from people in Austria, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kenya, Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK, and the USA.
A few days are left for the next episode of Joomla’s legendary Pizza, Bugs & Fun 2024.2 event. So prepare your GitHub account or check your documentation credentials, because you’ll need this. With Joomla 5.2 coming, there is a lot to do. Be ready on August 24th, 2024 to get your pizza and help Joomla to get release ready. Whether you're a seasoned Joomla enthusiast or new to the scene, PBF 2024.2 offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference while enjoying some fun and free pizza.
The wait is almost over for one of the most anticipated Joomla events of the year! Dive into the upcoming PBF event scheduled for 26th August 2023. Get ready to Test, Fix & Eat!
What would 2020 be without another event that’s run differently? We couldn’t supply pizza to JUGs this year, so participants around the world made their own for PBF20!
This month we talked to Philip Walton from the London Joomla User Group. Philip’s also the Joomla CMS Release Team Leader. During COVID-19 he’s been keeping the patch testing process ticking along with Bugs & Fun @ Home, which is how I came to meet him virtually back in April this year.
Good bug testing for software projects is about destruction not confirmation. You can easily follow the test instructions for a Pull Request (PR) and show that it fixes the problem it’s designed to fix. But what else might the new code be doing?
