Joomla!Day Events in October 2011
Pack your bags and roll into town... here's an overview of upcoming Joomla!Day events!
Israel
On the 10th of October, the Joomla! Israeli community will host the first Joomla!Day event in Tel Aviv, Israel.
International speakers include Ryan Ozimek (President of the board of Open Source Matters, Joomla & Open Source evangelist), Brian Teeman (co-founder of Joomla! and Open Source Matters), and Nicholas K. Dionysopoulos (developer of the popular AkeebaBackup).
Italy
The 4th Joomla!Day Italy will take place at the Firenze Fiera in Florence, Italy on the 22nd of October 2011.
Previous Joomla!Day events in Italy have been well attended, and the 1000-seat Auditorium of the Firenze Fiera International congress center should provide enough space for this free event.
USA
Also on that weekend (22 & 23 October), you can attend 2 days of workshops, learning and networking at Joomla!Day USA NYC 2011.
On Friday (21 Oct), the day before the NYC event, there will be a Joomla Roadmap Meeting at the same venue. The Joomla! Production Leadership Team (PLT) has invited the developer community to participate.
Denmark
IBC is again hosting Joomla!Day Denmark, one of Denmark's biggest events for Internet, online shops and web technology.
Joomla!Day Denmark 2011 is from the 28-29th October at IBC, Kolding
Thailand
The Asia Hotel Bangkok is the venue for the 5th Joomla!Day Bangkok, on Saturday, the 29th of October 2011. The conference room has room for 1,000+ people.
This year, several key members of the Joomla! community are scheduled to speak.
The Thai Joomla! Community looks forward to welcoming all to their beautifull capital city!
