Google Shopping allows Ecommerce stores to embed their products directly within the search experience of the largest search engine in the world.  Many Ecommerce stores rely on Google Shopping to drive sales.  If you are not yet using Google Shopping, this article will explain what it is and how you could start using it. For those who are using Google Shopping feeds, in September 2015, Google is making some changes to its taxonomies which may require you to update your Google Shopping feeds.  These changes must be made by 15th September, so if you're running a Joomla! website with an Ecommerce store and you rely on Google Shopping feeds, make sure you check your feeds!

In my first article we discussed why everyone needs a membership site, then we went on in the second to discuss different types and ways to use membership sites. On August 17th Joomla will be 10 years old. That's a truly amazing achievement for any open source project especially one that is 100% community run without any corporate overlord or backer. 10 years of a global community working together motivated not by money or personal gain but solely to create something that the world can use freely. As I look back to the events of August 2005 and the decision we made to leave the comfort of Mambo and start this journey it is hard for me to believe what we have achieved in that time.

Last month Google sent out its updated guidelines to gain visibility in Google search results. They involve accessing certain .css and .js files (stylesheets and javascripts) on your website. This affects the ranking of results.
