The full content is blocked and only after the visitor creates or is granted an access account will s/he be able enjoy the full content of the article.

Pour faire suite à l'article de David Hurley sur l'utilisation de less, Utilisez LESS avec Joomla!, j'ai établi une liste d'outils et programmes que vous pouvez utiliser pour travailler et encoder plus facilement vos sites web avec LESS, surtout si vous venez de l'univers des CSS traditionnelles et que vous essayez de comprendre le fonctionnement de LESS. Cet article passe en revue un ensemble d'outils LESS utiles et découverts par nos stagiaires, chez PB Web Development, pendant leur travail et apprentissage de LESS et Joomla.

Une des nombreuses nouvelles fonctionnalités de Joomla! 3 est l'implémentation de LESS. Nombre d'entre vous a bien sur entendu parler de LESS, ce que c'est, comment l'utiliser et comment il peut être utilisé, mais pour ceux désireux de l'apprendre (ou de se rafraichir la mémoire), voici un tour d'horizon de quelques-uns de ses avantages et la façon de l'utiliser dans Joomla.

Dans le précédent article dédié à Joomla! et l'entreprise, nous avons passé en revue les principaux avantages que possède Joomla! qui permettent de créer son activité. Depuis toujours, Joomla! est réputé pour ses qualités techniques indéniables. C'est l'une des plateformes qui a permis la transformation et la démocratisation du web au début du XXIème siècle, notamment grâce à l'Open Source qui a favorisé l'éclosion de millions de sites web. Et il est vrai que le système de gestion de contenu de Joomla! est particulièrement bien adapté aux petites et moyennes entreprises qui ont bien saisi l'enjeu d'avoir accès au web à partir d'un outil aussi puissant.

Peter has been working with Joomla since its beginning and is a member of the Community Leadership Team (CLT). He co-leads a web design and development agency based in Sydney, Australia and runs probably the most popular Joomla weekly podcast/videocast called Joomla Beat wherein he explores the Joomla world and gives light to talented newbies as well as talks with well-known people. Being a professional web-developer, Peter also loves working with new technologies and engineering templates, or doing strategic planning or consulting. Throughout the past few months I’ve been participating in the Joomla Marketing Team, and I have been in contact with many Joomla users around the world. At the same time, my son got admission to a medical college in the Philippines. I accompanied him on a college visit recently but I also wanted to meet Joomla people in the Philippines to share some knowledge and our passion for Joomla. After doing a little research I found that the once active JUG Philippines had become inactive. So, I set a goal: I decided to make my recent trip to the Philippines useful for the Joomla community by getting this JUG back together.

Sander Potjer, talented Dutch Joomla developer and passionate Joomla Community Leadership Team member, agreed on this interview with me for Joomla Community Magazine readers to share with them his thoughts on Joomla User Groups, his vision for newly launched Joomla Volunteer Portal, recently revamped by its team Joomla Extensions Directory, his competitive rowing schedule overlapping with JoomlaDay "season" and other Joomla related matters.

The start of a new calendar year is a time to look back on the past year, and look to the future. What did 2014 bring for the Joomla Project? And what does 2015 have in store?

En el grupo de Facebook “Joomla! en español” ha habido en los últimos tiempos algunas preguntas sobre LESS, qué es y cómo se usa. Yo descubrí LESS el año pasado y ¡me cambió la vida! LESS trae muchas cosas que uno conoce de la programación y que extraña cuando crea hojas de estilo CSS: variables, funciones, parámetros… En este artículo hago una pequeña introducción a LESS y muestro algunos ejemplos de como se usa.

Hace unos días me ofrecí a traducir este artículo de la Magazine en inglés: "Adding Fields to com_content The Smart Way", escrito por Don Cranford. Mientras lo traducía, me dí cuenta de que faltaban partes para que la explicación fuera "redonda", así que decidí instalar el plugin y usarlo para poder agregar más informaciones al artículo.

Lo que ofrece el plugin es una forma simple de agregar campos adicionales sin necesidad de instalar extensiones gigantescas a Joomla!. Claro que para hacer un plugin o incluso para usar el de Don Cranford hay que tener conocimientos de programación.

Если вернуть меня к преподаванию в университете, то в качестве платформы для заданий студентам я бы выбрал Joomla!.  И вот почему...

J'ai récemment travaillé sur un projet sur lequel je devais ajouter une fonctionnalité pour les témoignages des utilisateurs. Je voulais les afficher en utilisant le format shema.org/Review. En recherchant des solutions, tout ce que je trouvais était trop important pour ce dont j'avais besoin. Mon but était de proposer quelque chose de simple pour que mon client l'utilise, mais également avec la possibilité d'utiliser le bon format. L'approche la plus simple pour mon client était d'ajouter un champ aux Articles (com_content) de Joomla. Bien sûr, je ne souhaitais pas modifier le code du  com_content ou la table #_content dans Joomla. Cela aurait mené vers une lourde maintenance et des problèmes lors des prochaines mises à jour. Donc les plugins viennent à la rescousse.
