The second annual CMS Summit Orlando is again set to bring together web designers and developers from the biggest and brightest Open Source communities. Speakers and attendees from WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Frontend Design experts, will share their insight into web design, security, digital marketing and the top Content Management Systems.

CMS Summit is a sub-show of MERGE!, a group of conferences – like a ‘worlds fair’ event – hosting different events (new and old) with technology and domain names at the core. One of these is the well attended THEDomain Conference, in its fourth year. A continuation of a long-standing gathering of a who's who in the domain space. This event draws people to sunny Florida every fall, for its wealth of good networking, content, and opportunities, as well as being a who’s who of experts on appraisal, brokering, registries, registrars, domain advertising, registration, TLD Applications, email services and other investment opportunities.

THEDomainConference is just one of many other sub-events, activities and open meetings, which also will include: CMS Summit, Blockchain / Cryptocurrencies, SubMERGE!, Hosting, and Security.

The concept of CMS Summit Orlando was born from the love of Open Source and the need to bring the CMS and Frontend world together in one event. Joomladays,WordCamps, DrupalCamps and other CMS-specific meetups happen every month around the world, but these communities rarely cross paths.

CMS Summit Orlando will bring together developers, integrators, designers, experts, and users with other Merge attendees ranging from start-ups, hosting companies, funding, digital media and legal experts to domain owners looking for advice and help with launching their site. The conference will offer much more than sessions and training by creating a unique networking situation to drive business and commerce.

Joomla will be well represented this year with some of Joomla's favorite volunteers attending to speak and share their knowledge. Mike Demo will be a keynote speaker along with Duke Speer, Jason Nickerson and Adam Melcher all doing sessions.

This year's event is located at the Disney Springs Hilton, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The venue is part of Disney Springs, which provides excellent access to a variety of Disney rides, shows, dining, shopping, events, and activities.
