I founded BABS, (Bay Area Bloggers Society), to help connect the community to learn tech tools together. I'm a "low-tech" person myself, who has been learning more and more skills as I teach and consult and build my own material. Most of my blog/web world has been Wordpress. I was introduced to the Joomla community by Robert Vining, and am now venturing into the deeper (and more abundant) waters of web development with Joomla. I am a professional writer and would like to share the story of low-tech people going up the ladder of skills.
