Override Tips:

One work around to help build more accessible Web sites using Artisteer is to use the Beez Template Layouts included in Joomla! 1.5 core. To learn how to do so, see this Joomla Wiki document entitled How to override the output from the Joomla core.

Another alternative is YooTheme's overrides, which are available free. Easy to follow instructions can be found in the download.

If you want to create your own Template Overrides, see this Joomla! Wiki document Understanding Output Overrides in Joomla! 1.5 for an in-depth and easy to understand learning resource.

    Last month, in our article SEO, Joomla! and your Template we explained that before visiting the pages on a web site, search engines (for instance Google and Yahoo) check for the presence of instructions about the web site on its server. These instructions can be given by two files that are distributed with Joomla! and are normally found in the top level of your Joomla! installation: htaccess.txt and robots.txt.
