What's new in Joomla! 2.5?
Joomla! 2.5 will be released in January 2012 and it is the successor of Joomla! 1.5. It will be a so called long term release and it will be the Joomla! state of the art until July 2013. The versions 1.6 and 1.7 were short term releases and they paved the way to Joomla! 2.5.

US Latinos: Understanding their Importance Online and How to Reach Them
In the last two years, we have seen an explosion of Latina bloggers who are now considered “the” fastest growing population online. Not only is this because the web has become more accessible, but Latinos account for 56% of US growth in the past decade. The US census predicts that by 2020, 18% of the population, or 1 in 5 people will be Latino. Not surprisingly, this past spring, Google symbolically hired a team devoted specifically to Hispanic marketing.

Joomla! from a Japanese viewpoint
For six years I have been struggling to make a living out of Joomla! in Japan. Not many web site developers are using Joomla, but are using WordPress instead. There are many reasons for this. Joomla is a very powerful information publishing tool and I believe Joomla is the next generation home page system for those who are unfamiliar with HTML tags and Dreamweaver, and I am one of them.
