Born in Poland, Radek lives in Germany for ten years. Since 2006 Radek is providing high quality extensions for Joomla!. He continues his educational studies of Science of Informatics at Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and works full time for the Sobi projects.

As the development leader, Radek is the mastermind for developing SobiPro and the additional applications. As the system administrator he is also responsible for the setup and maintenance of all servers, the forum as well as the demo sites. Radek is OSM Board Member,and member of the J and Beyond e.V.

I started my career in the TV business but always had an interest in web development.

After discovering Joomla, I started Joomla sitebuilding in 2010 and at the time of writing I've left my job in TV production and now run a sucessful web development company in Belfast, Northern Ireland called webcraftni.com, that employs 6.

I also build custom add-ons for Joomla through my site Zoomodsplus.com. I am completely self taught in PHP and web development.

I am a member of the Joomla Bug Squad and a freaquent tweeter on all things Joomla.

Trabalhando na área de informática desde 1992 com venda de hardware e periféricos, inicie com produção de websites desde 1995, e já em 1998 inicio meu primeiro trabalho com um CMS próprio, desenvolvido em PHP. Desde 2006 dedicado exclusivamente ao Joomla.

When I got my first computer, many of you was not born yet, 1985. Self-taught, because at the time courses were not, only books in English. Working in information technology since 1992 with sales of hardware, peripherals and software, I started  producing websites since 1995, as early as 1998 my first time developing an own CMS, developed in PHP. Since 2006 dedicated exclusively to Joomla!.

Ruth Cheesley is CEO and Co-Founder of Virya Group and has worked with Joomla! since the fork from Mambo.  She specialises in Joomla! - in particular Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) - and is interested in exploring how open source technology can be implemented in business and education.  Virya means a driving force or energy to do good for the benefit of others, which is the central ethos behind the business.
