SEO Best Practices for Articles

This tidbits of SEO best practices were introduced in SEO, Joomla! and your template, please take them into consideration when writing and formatting your article. Most of the SEO has been dealt with on the development side, however, there are a few things you can do to maximize your article's optimization. We've listed those below and encourage you to read this article.

 

A Web Page can be considered SEO friendly if it has:

  • meta description (max 150 characters)
  • good architecture
  • subtitles with keywords or phrases
  • unique content
  • proper name of images, with alt attribute
  • a few instances of keywords and/or phrases in the article (heading, alt, bold, italic)
